Bradford Care Association

Whilst it’s still in the embryonic stages, the Bradford Care Association is gathering momentum with new members joining weekly.

Both the association and this website have are being developed to offer members, whether Residential Homes, Nursing Homes or Domiciliary Care Providers a range of services, assistance and the platform to share ideas, information and resources.

In the short term we aim to represent over 50% of all care providers in the Bradford District. Longer term we aim to build the association into a substantial organisation which represents at least 90% of the care homes and the majority of homecare providers in Bradford. Giving us one voice locally and nationally.

We need to keep members up to date via with email updates of news, best practice guidance, training opportunities, changes to requirements by NHS, CQC, local authorities and more.

We need to spend time negotiating fee uplifts, Up to now these would never have been achieved without representatives working and putting the effort in.

Aims of Bradford Care Association

  • We need to work hard to keep positive relationships with all our colleagues in the statutory sector by being honest and trustworthy.
  • We need to have negotiated uplifts to
    NHS CHC fees.
  • We need to help members with information.
  • We need to take up issues where our members need help and support.
  • We need to intercede on behalf of members where they have problems getting paid.
  • We need to each year bring people together at meetings of various kinds and have and annual conference.

In order to achieve all of this and more…

We need more members in order to grow into an organisation that truly represents our sector and gives us ONE VOICE.
